About Grayson's Rescue
Grayson’s Rescue was born out of love, heartbreak, and a promise.
Grayson was our first rescue, the one who changed everything. He showed us what patience, compassion, and second chances can do, and he became the reason we could no longer look away when animals needed help. Through Grayson, we learned that rescue isn’t just about saving an animal in the moment, it’s about committing to them for life.
Living where we do, we see the reality of the stray and abandoned animal crisis up close. Animals are regularly dumped on our road.. scared, injured, hungry, and left behind. Each one tells the same story: they were once someone’s responsibility, and then suddenly they weren’t. Watching this happen again and again made it clear that doing we needed to do more.
Grayson’s Rescue exists to give those animals what they were denied: safety, medical care, stability, and the chance to be truly loved. We are a small, foster-based rescue focused on dogs and cats in need. Every animal that comes into our care is treated as family, given the time they need to heal, and placed into a home where they are valued for life.
Our mission is simple but deeply rooted: to take animals from stray to safe, to prevent cruelty through compassionate action, and to ensure that every life we touch has a future filled with care and dignity.
We may be small, but our commitment is lifelong; to Grayson, to every animal we rescue, and to the belief that no animal deserves to be discarded or forgotten.
How You Can Help

DONATIONS
Many people are passionate about animal rescue and well-being but aren’t always sure how to help. One of the most impactful ways is through donations. Like most rescues, Grayson’s Rescue operates entirely on fundraising and donations, with much of the cost often coming out of the operators’ own pockets.
Your donations help provide food, cover veterinary bills, and support the overall care of each animal in our rescue. Every contribution, big or small, directly helps save lives and give our animals the care they deserve. There are several ways to donate, and each one makes a meaningful difference.
VOLUNTEERING
At Grayson’s Rescue, we are a small, hands-on operation and do much of the work ourselves, often caring for up to 12 foster dogs at a time. Volunteering your time is an incredible way to help.
Volunteers can assist with daily tasks such as feeding, cleaning, transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments, and most importantly, spending quality time with the animals in our care. This not only provides much-needed socialization for the dogs and cats but also offers a little animal therapy for you, too.
FOSTERING
Fostering is the foundation of most rescues. Without fosters, we simply cannot help more animals in need. By opening your home, you give animals who are dumped, pulled from shelters, or surrendered a safe place to land.
Fostering is incredibly rewarding. You get to watch animals transform from scared and timid to confident, healthy, and thriving. And while saying goodbye can be emotional, seeing them leave for their forever homes makes it all worth it. All supplies and veterinary care are fully covered by Grayson’s Rescue. Fostering can be short-term or long-term, depending on what works best for you and the animal.
